This wild male Amur Tiger, known by local forest guards as "Yasha", was photographed in the Lazovsky Zapovednik of Primorye Territory in South Eastern Russia. I left the camera with three separate strobes in weather-proof boxes attached to an infrared trigger. The trigger beam was set in front of a scent making tree. After three weeks, this king of the forest came in and activated the camera. A male Amur Tiger roams the night, wild and free, as a new snow fall in Lazovsky Zapovednik of Primorye Territory of South Eastern Russia. The indigenous people of the region refer to these demigods as Amba.
